Lake Apopka Natural Gas District Residential Appliance Rebate Program Summary
Our rebate program is designed to encourage the replacement of old natural gas appliances or the switching of electric
and/or propane appliances to new, energy efficient natural gas appliances in existing residences. The allowances are:

1. Thermostatically controlled vented system with blower. Furnace must have AFUE rating of 80% or greater. Firelogs do not qualify.
2. The standard tank and tankless water heater must meet the Energy Star criteria. For more information, visit Energy Star.
3. Gas grills and outdoor kitchens do not qualify under the range rebate.
The maximum allowance per customer, per location, is up to $650.00 in rebates when
you switch to natural gas or replace your old natural gas appliances.
Terms and Conditions: The Rebate applies to residential customers served by Lake Apopka Natural Gas District. Eligible
customers are those who have a current gas account in good standing and who are purchasing a new natural gas water
heater, furnace, range, cooktop, oven, or clothes dryer to replace an old natural gas appliance or are switching an
electric and/or propane appliance with a natural gas appliance. All rebates will be applied as a credit to the customer’s
account within six to eight weeks of receipt of all documents. No cash rebates are offered. Rebates are not offered in
new construction homes where the builder has furnished the gas appliances or where the homeowner upgrades the
builder supplied appliances.
Rebate request submissions and supporting documentation must be submitted either: online, via U.S. mail, faxed at 407-
877-3893, or delivered to any of our three office locations within 90 days of purchase, installation and/or conversion of
qualifying appliance. Only one rebate submission per appliance will be accepted within the average lifecycle of the
appliance per customer and location. (See Appliance Lifecycle chart). Used/leased appliances do not qualify. The
documentation submitted must show where (store, vendor) the appliance was purchased from, your name and address,
date of purchase, type of appliance, make and model number of the appliance, and how it was paid for, such as
credit/debit card with last 4 digits showing of the credit/debit cards. If paid by check, the check number must be listed,
and a copy of the canceled check must also be submitted. If paid by cash, receipt must show paid in full. Lake Apopka
Natural Gas District reserves the right to substantiate sales receipts, serial numbers, and installation information, and to
request additional documentation. Physical inspection for verification of claims may be required.
Note: Lake Apopka Natural Gas District reserves the right to make additions, deletions, or modifications to the rebate
program, including eligibility (which includes average lifecycle of gas appliances), and the amounts of rebates given, which
are subject to change without prior notice. Rebates cannot be combined with any other Lake Apopka Natural Gas District
offers, incentives and/or promotions.
