Gas Rates

Lake Apopka Natural Gas District is compelled to adjust the fuel portion of customer bills each month based on the projected costs. The projected fuel cost is adjusted each month to account for the difference between the projected fuel cost and the actual fuel cost. Lake Apopka Natural Gas District does not make any profit as a result of the change in the fuel charge. The fuel portion of your bill is a 'pass through' to recover the cost of purchased gas. As a public gas system, we are mindful of our obligation to our customers and community and we are committed to managing fuel costs so that we may offer you, our customer, the most economical fuel rate possible.
