Reliable Natural Gas for Homes, Businesses, and Vehicles

Lake Apopka Natural Gas District
Providing Reliable & Affordable Natural Gas from a Team You Trust

Lake Apopka Natural Gas District (LANGD) is a community-owned public utility providing affordable and reliable natural gas service to more than 30,000 residential, commercial, and industrial customers in West Orange and South Lake counties.

Established in 1959, LANGD is an independent special district of Florida created to meet the region’s growing energy needs. The District is governed by a five-member Board of Commissioners appointed by its member cities (Apopka, Winter Garden, and Clermont) and operates with direct accountability to the communities it serves.

LANGD’s role is straightforward: to provide safe, affordable, and reliable natural gas service to our community while maintaining the infrastructure that supports homes, businesses, and community development throughout the region. Through steady leadership and long-term planning, the District remains focused on serving Central Florida’s growing population with consistency and accountability.

What Our Customers Are Saying

"Connecting my new service was so easy because of your great employees, especially Lisa! She was incredibly helpful! She answered all my questions and was so patient with me as I worked through getting two separate accounts set up."

"Lake Apopka Natural Gas has the best customer service I have received in the last few years. This is my son’s account and I sometimes call in to help him pay his bills, and the service provided has always been exemplary. Also, as a property manager for communities using Lake Apopka Natural Gas, the technicians who came out were always top-tier. Your company is rocking it, both in the field and in the office.”

"Toni is a very nice person! It’s so refreshing to talk to someone who actually explains your bill and usage instead of rushing you off the phone. Lake Apopka has always had the best customer service."

"Three gentlemen were at my home this morning to fix a leak in my yard, and I just had to share how wonderful they were. Quentin and his crew were incredibly polite, kind, and professional. They completed the job quickly and efficiently, and it was clear they genuinely care about what they do. I wish more people in the business were like them. Please send them my kudos — they did a fantastic job!”

"I had problems with my email setting up auto payment. Went to the office in Clermont, for some help. I did not get the lady’s name who works there, but I can honestly say she was the most helpful person and also the nicest lady I have met in a very, very long time."

"RAVE ... I love when workers take safety seriously for folks like me when in a public parking lot. Not sure who he is but the young man who parked this truck and put a cone out should be commended for the time he took to keep others safe. I truly appreciate him!!”
