Celebrate Public Natural Gas Week with LANGD!

Each year, Lake Apopka Natural Gas District celebrates the role natural gas plays in fueling our community during Public Natural Gas Week, October 4–10, 2026. This annual celebration gives us an opportunity to recognize the many benefits of natural gas while celebrating the customers and communities we’re proud to serve.

From its reliability and versatility to its affordability, natural gas continues to be an important energy choice for homes and businesses. Public Natural Gas Week is also a time for us to say thank you to our customers for choosing natural gas and trusting LANGD to serve their energy needs.

This year, we want to hear from you!

There are many reasons people choose natural gas for their homes and businesses. Maybe you appreciate its reliability, value its affordability, enjoy cooking with natural gas, or simply like having a dependable energy source. Whatever your reason, we want to hear your story.

As a thank you for choosing natural gas, throughout the month of October, LANGD will select two winners each week to receive a $200 gift card. We’ll celebrate both our newest customers and those who have been choosing natural gas for years, with one new customer and one existing customer selected each week.
